Security and data treatment

Your books remain your books.

Odyssey Apex reads the financial records needed to explain roofing money. QuickBooks Online remains the accounting system of record.

Read only by default

The standard QuickBooks connection reads scoped accounting data. Odyssey does not move money or change an accounting entry through the default connection.

Scoped connection

QuickBooks authorization is handled through Intuit production OAuth. Access tokens are stored server side and are not exposed in the browser.

Account isolation

Supabase Row Level Security limits authenticated reads to records owned by that account. Sensitive server writes use controlled application routes.

Payment data

Stripe handles card collection and payment processing. Odyssey Apex does not store full card numbers.

Carrier estimates

Uploaded carrier estimates are used for extraction and reconciliation. The site privacy notice describes current service providers and data treatment.

Trust before totals

Trust Score checks data reliability before financial outputs appear. If the books cannot support an answer, Odyssey shows the issue instead of a confident number.

Secure connection links

After checkout, Odyssey creates a signed single purpose QuickBooks connection link with a seven day expiry and one time use.

Disconnect and cancel

Customers can disconnect QuickBooks and manage the subscription from the product. The 14 day refund terms are documented in the Terms.

Odyssey Apex cannot move a dollar through the default QuickBooks connection.
